Sharp chose Qtopia for their industry-leading line of Linux PDAs. Sharp has released numerous PDAs to date, including the following models: SL-5500, SL-A300, SL-C700, SL-C750, SL-5600, SL-C760, SL-6000, and SL-C860.

IBM e-LAP
IBM developed an open standards based Linux/Qtopia PDA reference design. Based on the IBM PowerPC 405LP embedded processor, the reference design, dubbed the "embedded Linux application platform" (e-LAP), is intended to jump-start PDA manufacturers, who can use the design as is, or can modify it to meet their own PDA, electronic book, or "personal media device" requirements.

Datang

Datang, a leading company in the TD-SCDMA industry, has chosen Trolltech's Qtopia® Phone Edition (Qtopia Phone) development platform and user interface as the software for its Linux-based mobile phone reference platform. The first commercial phone for the Datang Mobile TD-SCDMA Linux mobile phone platform is expected to be available in the first half of 2005 in China, where it has demonstrated excellent performance in MTNET testing, early network deployment, and pre-commercial trial networks.

Volvo

Volvo used Qt for Embedded Linux to design the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) that bus drivers interact with on the mobile Linux-based vehicle computer, called the Advanced Information Centre (AIC). TDS Recon

The Linux-based TDS Recon combines the rugged durability of tried and proven TDS Recon with the flexibility, extensive features and reliability of the Linux operating system. The TDS Recon has a huge battery, easy to color screen, and is impervious to water and dust (IP67 rating). This rugged device meets MIL-STD-810F standards for drops, vibration and temperature extremes.

IBM and Consumer Direct Link, Inc. have co-developed the Qtopia-based Paron MPC, a unique handheld PC which combines the functions of a PDA, Bluetooth wireless access, cellular telephone, and biometric fingerprint recognition, along with a security-oriented hardware/software architecture.
