Li Seng selects Trolltech’s Qtopia application platform for its newest web-enabled electronic dictionary device
Beijing, 14 July - 2008 - Trolltech, a Nokia company, today announced that Qtopia®, it’s application platform for the efficient creation of Linux-based devices, has been selected by Li Seng Technology for their MD100 electronic dictionary device. This device will start shipping under Li Seng customer’s brand name in Thailand, Vietnam and Hong Kong markets this autumn.
Additionally to the standard features found in electronic dictionaries, Liseng is planning to offer web browsing feature in MD 100 upgrading version, as well as other multi-media functions such as MP3 player, organizer, games, and more. The device has 1GB flash memory, and a 4.3” touch-screen TFT LCD.
