Dr. Karsten Homann is the recently appointed VP of Trolltech's Professional Services Organization. Karsten joined Trolltech in January of this year to head the new organization which comprises Consultancy Services, Support and Training departments.

PSO is a rapidly expanding part of the Trolltech machine and has located their departments in several of the Trolltech offices; Brisbane, Australia; Munich, Germany; Beijing, China; and Redwood City, California to name a few.

The Consultancy department is focused to a large extent on the Qtopia product line and assisting customers succeed in their projects. This side of PSO has grown and continues to grow significantly with active recruitment of Project Managers and Software Engineers. Training and Support departments offer an array of services to both Qt and Qtopia customers.

Subsequent articles in Trolltalk will take each of the departments in turn and describe the services we offer, but for now join us in celebrating a great new PSO!
