Flicker Be Gone
Flicker, under certain circumstances, has been a challenge in the past for Qt applications running on Windows and X11. Resizing the splitter in Qt Designer on X11 is a classic example, but with Qt 4.4 bringing the real cross-platform solution, this is not an issue anymore.
HOW TO integrate Qtopia on a Linux device in one week!
There are quite a few devices these days coming out that run Linux. Qtopia Phone Edition is the premier Linux mobile phone software. It's mature, robust and always being improved. Provided the device is already running Linux and has all the hardware drivers working, it is relatively easy to get Qtopia up and running.

After working with computers since 1989, I've resigned a little.

Qtopia Greensuite is an engineering, marketing and commercial initiative led by Trolltech, in collaboration with leading software companies. The result being that Trolltech now provides premium quality pre-integrated technologies on the Qtopia platform all of which is available commercially to customers. This initiative provides a distinct acceleration to product development lifecycles.
