Qt for Windows® CE is a port of the Qt API and developer tools to the Windows CE operating system.   This is the final pre-release preview, before the final release scheduled for the Qt 4.4 release in early May 2008.

What's Included in the Release Candidate

Based on Qt 4.4, this Release Candidate of Qt/Windows CE incorporates feedback gathered from several preview releases provided to specific partners, and presents a near feature-complete preview for testing and feedback.  The Qt/Windows Release Candidate includes:

• Support for Windows CE and Windows Mobile version 5.0 and 6.0*
  
• Complete port of relevant modules in the Qt 4.3 API: QtCore, QtConcurrent, QtGUI, QtNetwork, QtOpenGL, QtSQL, QtSVG, QtScript, QtXML, QtXMLPatterns, and Active Qt (Qt3Support not included)
  
• Qt development tools: Qt Designer, Qt Linguist and Qt Assistant
  

• Visual Studio Integration supporting Qt/Windows CE, simplifying deployment to Windows CE embedded devices and emulators
• Complete Qt/Windows CE source code
• Documentation, demos and examples
  

 
*Note: Qt/Windows CE does not provide complete support for the Windows Mobile API.  Developers wishing to access Windows Mobile-specific APIs,
for example for PIM and telephony, must access these operating system features directly.

Downloads

Qt for Windows CE is currently available under a special preview license for testing and feedback only.  This package is not intended for production coding, however we encourage you to write test programs to experience how the new features will behave.
