QtCompletor

The QtCompletor class provides completions based on a item model.

You can use QtCompletor to add completion support to any Qt widget (e.g. QLineEdit, QTextEdit, or QComboBox) The QtCompletor allows developers to easily implement custom widgets like spell checkers, input form widgets and line edits that accept a filename that provide completions as the user types.

Unsupported platforms:

Only the tested platforms are supported, however the classes should be platform independent and are likely to work on the platforms supported by Qt.
