Price and Licensing
Qt Solutions is included in Qt license purchases, free of charge.
Support and Maintenance
The Qt Solutions license includes support and maintenance service on the same terms, and for the same period, as for Qt itself. Support is offered for all the combination of Qt versions and platforms listed in the documentation of each component or tool.
The support and maintenance service for Qt Solutions will be renewed for additional 12-month periods in conjunction with the renewal of the Qt license. Holders of valid Qt support and maintenance service agreements will also receive all new Qt Solutions releases free of charge.

New Releases
Major releases are planned to happen quarterly. These will include new components and tools, and functionality additions to already released components. Maintenance/bugfix releases of existing components are done on a running basis, and are announced just to the Qt Solutions mailing list.

Installation
Each Qt Solutions component and tool contains detailed information on how to install it. Please take a look at the INSTALL.txt file of the respective package for detailed information.
Components are directly compiled into your application. The package contains a .pri file that allows you to integrate the component into into programs that use qmake for the build step.
Supported and unsupported platforms
Each Qt Solutions component and tool states in the documentation and on the web pages on which platforms and with which Qt versions it was tested. These platforms are the officially supported platforms. Other platforms were not tested and we cannot guarantee that the component or tool will compile or run on them.
Some components and tools are known not to run on certain platforms. This is usually due to the fact that they are using platform specific functionality. These platforms are listed in the documentation and on the web pages as unsupported platforms.
