Dear Qt Developer Days Attendee,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 5th Annual Developer Days conference!
The Qt Developer Days 2008 conference program boasts a new and improved program consisting of three Qt Technical tracks and a Qt Business Track delivered in parallel.
The Qt Technical tracks deliver two-days of the most up-to-date and advanced technical information for application developers, programmers and tech savvy professionals.
New this year, Qt Business Track, provides the opportunity for business managers and industry leaders to exchange ideas on technology trends and best practices via customer testimonials, a roundtable discussion and in-depth sessions on market trends.
We are thrilled to present keynotes from Mike Gualtieri, Senior Analyst at Forrester Research, Jonathan Erickson, Editor-in-Chief at Dr. Dobb’s Journal, Charles Davies, CTO at Symbian and our Chief Technologist, Benoit Schillings. These industry leaders will focus on topics such as the future of application development, the convergence of desktop and embedded software development and the transition to parallel programming.
A lot has happened since Developer Days 2007, and as of the end of September 2008, we are Qt Software a part of Nokia yet still adhering to our proud Qt heritage. Qt Developer Days 2008 keynotes will give you the opportunity to listen and actively participate in Qt Software’s strategy and product roadmap. We aim to solidify our stance in the software and hardware development market as the leading framework of choice magnifying Qt Everywhere.
We are pleased to welcome back the popular Support Help running throughout the two-day event to discuss your development challenges in-person with Qt Support Engineers and Programmers. As in the past years, we welcome you to join us for our drink reception and Dinner with the Trolls directly following the final sessions on Day 1.
